Lupča Castle - founded in 12th century - until 17th century a 'Princess' dowry - Hunting and administrative center during 17th to 19th century - Now in private ownership.   Central Slovakia - 11km north of Banská Bystrica
Stary hrad Strečno 

Old Strečno Castle 		Location - Between the towns of Martin and Žilina on the river Váh 12th Century - 
Romantic ruined castle.  
Access possible on foot. 		 
Spišský hrad Location - Spišské Podhradie - Between the towns of Poprad and Prešov  Massive Castle area. Described as the largest fortified area in Europe.  
  Vígĺas Location - 14 kms from Zvolen   Fortified Manor House. Destroyed at end of 2nd World war. Fragments of Italian renaissance period visible   
   Pustý hrad  Location - 5 kms from Zvolen One of the largest fortified castle areas in central Europe.  Recently undertaken research and excavation has revealed many new facts and artifacts
